Group-Friendly Restaurants in San Miguel de Allende

The Restaurant

Thursday Burger night has become its own little tradition in San Miguel de Allende—part dinner, part social hour. Chef Donnie Masterton’s menu keeps it simple but smart. It’s the kind of place where locals bring friends when they want to show them a good time.

📍 Sollano 16

Atrio

Upscale dining with unmatched views of the Parroquia.

📍 Cuna de Allende 3

Atrio

Hands down one of the best meals you can have in San Miguel. The view is a bonus. The kitchen turns out thoughtful, beautiful food every time. It’s the place I always recommend when someone asks where to go for something unforgettable.

📍 Cuna de Allende 3

La Azotea

I’ve had the jicama taco more times than I can count, and it’s still one of my favorite things to eat in this town. The rooftop is easy and familiar—the kind of place you can go on a random Tuesday or bring out-of-towners and it always works.

📍KM 2.180, Carretera a Atotonilco

Bekeb

Award-winning cocktail bar run by mixologist Fabiola Padilla. Refined and intimate.

📍 Live Aqua Hotel

Bekeb

Bekeb has racked up every kind of international recognition—Top 50 Bars in North America, write-ups in The New York Times, Condé Nast, Forbes—and it actually lives up to it. Now tucked inside Live Aqua, it’s refined and quiet, with cocktails that feel more like compositions than drinks. Fabiola Padilla runs the bar with a kind of precision you don’t see everywhere, and when it’s not too busy, the whole experience feels almost meditative.

📍 Live Aqua Hotel

Tacos Don Felix

The food is consistently good, the margaritas are strong, and the hospitality is unmatched. It’s warm, relaxed, and always feels sincere. One of the places I recommend most—and one I always look forward to going back to.

📍Fray Juan de San Miguel 15

Quince

Award-winning cocktail bar run by mixologist Fabiola Padilla. Refined and intimate.

📍 Cuna de Allende 15 •ive Aqua Hotel

Quince

Easily one of the most iconic rooftops in San Miguel. The view is incredible, the place is always packed, and the energy is high. It’s not subtle—but when you want to show someone a big, over-the-top night out, this is where you take them.

📍 Cuna de Allende 15 •ive Aqua Hotel

La Posadita

One of my favorite rooftops in San Miguel. The view of the Parroquia is hard to beat, the food is consistently good, and the whole place feels easy. It’s the kind of spot that works for a long lunch or a slow dinner—simple, reliable, and always a good idea.

📍Cuna de Allende 13

La Única

Elegant rooftop with upscale Mexican fare and standout cocktails.

📍 Sollano 14

La Única

The rooftop is beautiful and the cocktails are well made. The food is consistently good and the service is thoughtful. It’s one of those places that feels easy but still a little special.
